지금은 E-Mail 사용이 전혀 어색하지 않고 거의 생활화되어 있습니다.

과거에는 E-Mail 사용하면 " 우와~~~ 너 컴퓨터 도사로구나 " 라는 말을 들을 정도로

대중화 되지 못했습니다.

제 기억에 페가수스 메일은 초창기 많은 사람들이 사용했던 메일프로그램입니다.

같이 업하는 프로그램은 페가수스 메일의 Add-On 입니다.

SMTPOP 1.2 (D), by Alfredo Cole, is a POP3/SMTP gateway for PMail 3.2+ for DOS, connecting a standalone PC to the Internet. Replaces the older PMPOP and SMTPOP 1.1. Download smtpop12.zip (155K). 

PMSMTP 0.12b (D), by Fred Macall, is a mail sending agent that provides PMail for DOS with the AUTH LOGIN authentication that many ISP servers require. (Note that you will still need a POP3 agent to receive mail). Runs on any DOS machine, from an 8088 with DOS3.3, on up. Thorough documentation provided. Download PMSMTP12.ZIP (45K). 

Pegasus Mail Add-on Programs (DW) from Dragon Computer Consultancy convert email data files to/from PMail, Eudora, Netscape, etc.; turn PMail into a file server; and more. 

EConv (D), from A.N.D. Technologies, consists of two utilities that convert mail folders, address books and other data from Eudora to Pegasus, and from Pegasus to Eudora. Download econv10.zip (35K). 

unix2pm (D), by James A. Perreault, converts Unix mail folders to Pegasus Mail folders or to separate message (incoming mail) files. Package includes executable and C source code. Download (20K) from one of these sites: Asia-Pacific    North America    Europe

기억을 되살려 페가수스 메일을 어케되었나  http://www.pmail.com/ 에 가서 대충 훌터보니

머큐리메일서버와 동일한 녀석이였군요...

머큐리 메일서버는 저도 한번 써본 적이 있는데.. 무료메일서버프로그램으로 상당히 괜찮았던 걸로 기억하는데..

요 놈이 페가수스 메일과 같은 놈이였군요.. 후훗~~~
